Our Story
At Süp, we’re passionate about creating a dining experience that’s as fresh, vibrant, and welcoming as Reno’s MidTown district. Since opening in 2007, Christian and Kasey Christensen have poured over 40 years of combined experience into crafting a menu of healthy, high-quality food that’s both fast and flavorful.
Our offerings feature gourmet soups, fresh sandwiches, and crisp salads—all made from scratch daily using the finest ingredients. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite to-go or dining in, we provide a casual yet inviting atmosphere where you can enjoy wholesome meals packed with flavor.
Located in the heart of MidTown, Süp brings a lively and laid-back vibe to the neighborhood. We’re open until 8 pm Monday through Saturday, making it easy to grab a satisfying meal anytime. We’re proud to be part of Reno’s thriving MidTown community, collaborating with local businesses and the City of Reno to help grow and strengthen the area.
Whether you’re a longtime local or just passing through, we can’t wait to welcome you to Süp!
Our Ingredients
Here's what makes us unique and quite proud of what we create and serve:
• Our soup stocks are made in-house from fresh ingredients, not reconstituted from thick bases bought from suppliers.
• We roast turkeys daily for our soups and sandwiches.
• Our breads are the only pre-made products purchased, delivered and made fresh daily, from House of Bread.
• Every salad dressing is homemade and can be purchased to take home.
• Our meats are brought to us from Ponderosa, right down the street.
Our Farms

The River School Farm farm prides itself on growing food year-round in this high desert, urban environment. Using a variety of innovative growing techniques we are able to produce a diverse mix of organic vegetables and herbs even in the coldest months. We practice responsible micro-farming, aspiring to work within a closed system where we generate our own fertility and food. In that pursuit we also raise chickens, ducks, goats and keep bees, all of whom contribute to a healthy, wholesome model of living.

New Harvest Farm is an urban farm located in Reno near downtown and the scenic Truckee River. We specialize in growing pea shoots and sunflower shoots. You can find our products year-round at the Great Basin Community Food Co-op and at many restaurants in the Reno/Sparks/Tahoe region.

DROPP is a food hub, a department of The Great Basin Community Food Co-op. DROPP's mission is to promote our local food system and serve as a sustainable cooperative model for access to wholesome food. Our food hub offers transparency for our food and its environmental, social, and economic impacts in order to help build a strong local food system that aligns with the goals and needs of growers, producers, and customers.
